Acceptable use policy

www.MoneyVista.com ("MoneyVista") is a site operated MoneyVista Limited ("we", "us" or "our"). We are a company registered in England and Wales under company number 004409600. Our registered office is at 55 Gracechurch Street, London, EC3V 0RL.

This acceptable use policy ("Policy") sets out the terms on which you may access any forum or features on MoneyVista that allow you to give feedback to us or that allows you to interact with us and with other users ("Forums").

This Policy applies to all users, subscribers and visitors to MoneyVista.

By using MoneyVista you accept and agree to abide by this Policy, which supplements our Terms of Use.

1. IMPORTANT - ADVICE

Any views expressed in our Forums are purely personal opinions: they do not form a professional recommendation or advice and are in no way endorsed by us.

Nothing in or on any Forum constitutes financial or other professional advice in any way. You should consult a financial adviser or other professional adviser if you require any financial or other professional advice.

2. USER CONTENT

2.1 You are solely responsible for any messages or material you submit on Forums ("User Content"). You must not submit User Content that you did not create or do not have permission to send.

2.2 When you submit User Content, you authorise and direct us (or our authorized hosting services provider), to make any copies we need to facilitate the posting and storage of User Content on MoneyVista.

2.3 By posting User Content to any part of MoneyVista, you automatically grant, and you represent and warrant that you have the right to grant, to us an irrevocable, perpetual, non-exclusive, worldwide licence to use, copy, perform, display and distribute such User Content and to grant and authorise sublicenses of such User Content. You may remove your User Content from MoneyVista at any time.

2.4 If you choose to remove your User Content, the licence granted above will automatically expire, however you acknowledge that we may retain archived copies of your User Content.

3. MODERATION

We are under no obligation to oversee, monitor or moderate the Forums. We are not responsible for the conduct, whether online or offline, of any user of MoneyVista.

4. CONTENT STANDARDS

4.1 Please remember that any User Content may be viewed by other members and therefore always think carefully before you submit a contribution.

4.2 Whenever you submit User Content to MoneyVista or interact with us or with any other users, you must comply with these Content Standards. If you do not comply with these Content Standards, we reserve the right to suspend you from using the Forums and / or accessing MoneyVista.

4.3 All User Content must:

• be accurate (where it states facts);
• be genuinely held (where it states opinions); and
• comply with applicable law in the United Kingdom.

4.4 User Content must Not:

• contain any material which is defamatory, obscene, offensive, hateful or inflammatory;
• promote sexually explicit material, violence, discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or age;
• infringe any copyright, database right, trade mark or other intellectual property right of any other person;
• solicit or attempt to solicit passwords or personal identifying information for commercial or unlawful purposes from other users;
• be likely to deceive any person;
• be made in breach of any legal duty owed to anyone else, such as a contractual duty or a duty of confidence;
• promote any illegal activity;
• be threatening, abusive or invade another's privacy, or cause annoyance, inconvenience or needless anxiety;
• be likely to harass, upset, embarrass, alarm or annoy any other person;
• be used to impersonate any person, or to misrepresent your identity or affiliation with any person;
• give the impression it comes from us; or
• advocate, promote or assist any unlawful activity, including but not limited to copyright infringement or computer misuse.

5. REPORT ABUSE

If you find any User Content offensive or if you feel it violates this Policy or our terms of use, please contact us immediately using the "Report Abuse" function.

6. SUSPENSION AND TERMINATION

6.1 If you fail to comply with this Policy, we may take all or any of the following actions:

• withdraw your right to use MoneyVista;
• remove any User Content uploaded by you to MoneyVista;
• issue a warning to you;
• take legal proceedings against you for reimbursement of all costs on an indemnity basis (including, but not limited to, reasonable administrative and legal costs) resulting from your failure to comply with this Policy; and
• disclose such information to law enforcement authorities as we reasonably feel is necessary.

6.2 The responses described in this Policy are not limited, and we may take any other action we reasonably think is appropriate.

7. SECURITY

You must be aware of your own, and other people's security and confidentiality. You could be sent unwanted emails if you post your email address on a Forum or send it to other users, or receive unwanted telephone calls if you post your telephone number. You will also put your email account at risk of computer viruses once it is available online.

8. CHANGES TO THIS ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY

Please check this Policy regularly for changes. We will occasionally update this Policy to reflect changes in our practices and services. When we post changes to this Policy, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the bottom of this Policy. We recommend that you check MoneyVista from time to time to inform yourself of any changes in this Policy or any of our other policies.
